"When peoples rights are violated, they need a way to resist and fight back." states Jamila Reqib. We need something as effective as violence. Actions that do not require weapons or killing, but are enough to get peoples attention to where everyone contributes. Sometimes it is necessary for people to be offended, because if they weren't nothing would matter. We will never be heard if we do not act, but how we act is what pulls us further away from a safer reality. Our futures and dreams lie not in condemning violence, but in making violence obsolete.
